About Me

Dr. Steve Paragioudakis, MD is an award-winning orthopaedic and spinal surgeon, philanthropist, and sports enthusiast. Fluent in multiple languages, Dr. Paragioudakis has a diverse set of interests both within and beyond his profession. He is a devoted husband and father of four who currently serves as Residency Director for the Monmouth Medical Center's Orthopedic Residency Program. As program director, Dr. Paragioudakis provides advanced clinical training for orthopaedic residents with instruction in academics and research. He is especially passionate about helping residents learn innovative techniques to benefit their future careers and developing products with ongoing research projects regarding various devices used in the medical field today. His areas of expertise include minimally invasive spine surgery, robotic spine surgery, revision spine surgery, SI pain solutions, amongst others; all highly beneficial techniques which have revolutionized spinal surgeries by yielding positive results sooner while reducing recovery time considerably - essentially decreasing the level of pain one experiences post-surgery. Dr. Paragioudakis earned his Bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University before obtaining a medical degree from Rutgers School of Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). To follow up, he completed an internship and residency program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Department of Orthopaedics, where he flourished further in his field.
